Our Physical Therapy Staff:

Mark Blackburn, PT

Mark graduated from The University Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1998, with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He began his career with Stephenville Sports Rehab in 1998, and he also worked for the Comanche County Hospital District in their outpatient clinic, home health, and hospital inpatient setting. In 2003 he became an owner of Stephenville Sports Rehab, and in 2007 he became the sole owner of the practice. He has an extensive background in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, as well as functional employment testing. He is also professionally involved with the surrounding high schools and works in conjunction with the Tarleton State University Athletic Training Department to help rehabilitate their athletes. He is a member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Mark is from Stephenville and attended Stephenville High School. He also owns Weatherford Physical Therapy located in Weatherford, Texas and Active Physical Therapy located in Aledo, Texas.

Derek Haney, PT, DPT

Derek joined the Stephenville Sports Rehab team in August of 2008. Derek graduated from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas in 2004 with a degree in exercise science/biology and then received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2006. He also has over 5 years of experience doing personal training and conducting strength and conditioning camps for athletes. His career in physical therapy has been primarily spent doing outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and sports performance, but he also has extensive knowledge in neurological/stroke rehabilitation.

Deb Gaines, PTA

Deb has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2000. She graduated from Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She began her career with Stephenville Sports Rehab in 2000 and has been with the company since the very beginning of her PTA career. Deb specializes in aquatics and home health physical therapy.

Troy Kimbrough, PTA

Troy has been associated with Stephenville Sports Rehab since November of 2000. He graduated from McLennan Community College, located in Waco, Texas in 1993, with a Physical Therapist Assistant Degree. Troy has a physical therapy background in in-patient, out-patient, acute care settings, and orthopedics. Troy enjoys working with patients of all ages.

Dale Polk, PTA

Dale started as a tech with Stephenville Sports Rehab in 1999. He held a degree in Exercise Sports Studies from Tarleton State University. After 10 years as a tech, he decided to further his education and attend PTA school in Waco, Texas at McLennan Community College. He graduated with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2011.

Our Speech Therapy Staff:

Kaja Reagor, MA, CCC-SLP

Kaja is a Speech-Language Pathologist providing speech-language services to people of all ages with communication disorders. Kaja graduated with her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Texas Christian University in 2004 and obtained her Masters degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2006. She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. She moved back to her hometown, Stephenville, in 2007 and has six years of experience working in many different settings, including: in-patient acute care, home-health services, schools, outpatient rehabilitation clinic, nursing homes and performing modified barium swallows. Kaja joined the Stephenville Sports Rehab and Physical Therapy team in December 2010 and enjoys the positive atmosphere. Kaja is a current VitalStim Therapy Provider to treat patients with swallowing disorders. She enjoys working with both children and adults to provide appropriate swallowing, cognitive and speech-language interventions to help meet individual needs.
